Do I need to book?
Great news, no booking is not required, simply turn up and pay at the ticket office for both event and regular days.
Do you allow dogs on site?
Yes, well behaved dogs are very much welcomed, we even provide a drinking bowl, or two, for them. All we ask is that they are kept on their lead and do not enter the Café or Shop. You can, with consideration for others, bring them on the vehicles too.
Do you hire your vehicles out?
Unfortunately, various insurance and covenance restrictions mean that we cannot hire out our vehicles.
Are you disabled friendly?
We have parking dedicated to disabled visitors.
Sadly, due to the authentic pre-1960s design of our site and vehicles, visitors with limited mobility may struggle to board and alight our vehicles. Where possible we have tried to design our site to assist those with limited mobility.
Can carer’s make use of the concession charge?
Sadly, we cannot extend the concession charge to carer’s of disabled persons.
What days can I use my Season Ticket on?
Your season tickets can be use on any museum open day and event day.
Speak to our ticket office attendant on your next visit and get yourself 12 months free access to our museum.
Can I park on site during Event Weekends?
Sadly, due to our car park being used as our very own Bus Station at a selection of our events we cannot accept parking on site.
