At Carlton Colville we have one of the widest ranges of preserved vehicles of any museum, and further exhibits are still accepted from time to time.

Find out about the only place in the British Isles where visitors can not only view, but also ride on all three principal forms of public transport from the earlier part of the 20th Century.
The museum is staffed entirely by volunteers who give up their time to bring alive the sights and sounds of the past. None of this is possible, however, without the support of you
We hope that you will find all the information that you need about the museum contained in the following pages
We think that we have included all the important stuff that you will need to plan a visit to see us at our site just a couple of miles from Lowestoft – England’s most easterly town. You will also find some more general information that you may find interesting about the society, the museum, its collection and what we’re working on at the moment.
Things are always changing, so don’t forget to come back and visit our site regularly to see what’s going on. Remember, every single person who works here is a volunteer and we always have plenty of hands-on opportunities for new recruits.
