Join us for the bus weekend, which this year has a local theme- featuring buses old and new from East Anglian operators. Vehicle entry forms are available on our website for buses which operate/operated in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. Our free park & ride service, courtesy of First Eastern Counties, operates both days.

Let us take you back to the sights and sounds of the swinging 60s at our special themed weekend. With all the usual Museum attractions, there’s plenty of vehicles in our extensive fleet from the 60s to travel on and entertainment is planned for both days. Free bus services to Lowestoft and Beccles and our free park & ride service, courtesy of First Eastern Counties, operates both days. Come along in 1960s costume for half-price entry.

As always, our Easter event welcomes you with an Easter celebration with fun for all the family.

Our first event of the year sees Blackpool Railcoach 634 (the Terror Tram) launched into service. There will be an intensive Blackpool tram service throughout the weekend and an hourly bus service to Lowestoft. In addition, the Children’s Easter Treasure Hunt returns again this year on Saturday 30 & Sunday 31 March

Are you fed up with tinsel & turkey?  Have you seen quite enough of the relatives?  Will you scream if you see another cracker or paper hat?  Then come along for a last chance this winter to ride on our vintage vehicle fleet.  We will be running a free bus service to Lowestoft as well as the museum’s attractions; what a great end to the year’s festivities.

We bring you some Christmas cheer this December by opening our doors for some seasonal (and completely COVID-secure) tram, trolleybus and train rides – and we’ve even put up the decorations especially for the occasion.

Join us for a weekend of fun where all available vehicles from our fleet will be running; as the nights are beginning to draw in, we will be running after dark on Saturday, when the Museum takes on a very special atmosphere under the streetlights.
