We will have a fantastic selection of our own vehicles as well as visiting buses and coaches on show and to ride from 11am to 5pm on the 8th and 9th of July.

Access is easy with a FREE park & ride service operating.

Our first event of the year welcomes you with an Easter celebration with fun for all the family.
Are you fed up with tinsel & turkey? Have you seen quite enough of the relatives? Will you scream if you see another cracker or paper hat? Then come along for a last chance this winter to ride on our vintage vehicle fleet. We will be running a free bus service to Lowestoft as well as the museum’s attractions; what a great end to the year’s festivities.

RIDE THE LIGHTS at the East Anglia Transport Museum

We bring you some Christmas cheer this December by opening our doors for some seasonal (and completely COVID-secure) tram, trolleybus and train rides – and we’ve even put up the decorations especially for the occasion.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to cancel this event. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Join us for a weekend of fun where all available vehicles from our fleet will be running; as the nights are beginning to draw in, we will be running after dark on Saturday, when the Museum takes on a very special atmosphere under the streetlights.
This is one of our most exciting events where we will be bringing examples from the local emergency services to the museum, with displays and demonstrations throughout the day.
As the home of more London Trolleybuses than any other museum, we’ll be staging another of our ever-popular London Events to celebrate public transport from the capital with our own and visiting London-themed vehicles on display and in service.
Join us to celebrate our 50th anniversary of opening to the public where we’ll be getting out and displaying or operating as many of our vehicles as we can possibly manage.
