Corona Virus (COVID-19)

23-03-20

It is with much sadness that, due to the current situation that we have had to take the hard decision to close the museum to prevent any risks to both the team and customers visiting.

Unfortunately this also means the cancelation of most of our much loved events this year.

It is our intention to re-open as soon as it is safe to do so, but our first event will be in September on the 26th and 27th for our Trollybus Event.

Please check back here for the latest updates.

We look forward to seeing you all when we return.

Stay safe.

We hope that you will find all the information that you need about the museum contained in the following pages

We think that we have included all the important stuff that you will need to plan a visit to see us at our site just a couple of miles from Lowestoft – England’s most easterly town. You will also find some more general information that you may find interesting about the society, the museum, its collection and what we’re working on at the moment.

Things are always changing, so don’t forget to come back and visit our site regularly to see what’s going on. Remember, every single person who works here is a volunteer and we always have plenty of hands-on opportunities for new recruits.
